Industrial injuries insurance is compulsory. As an employer, you are therefore obliged to have an insurance that cover all you employees. All your employees must be insured at work, irrespective of whether they are paid or unpaid.

If you are the owner of the company you and your spouse are not obliged to have an industrial injuries insurance, but it is a good idea to also take out industrial injuries insurance for you and your spouse if he/she helps around the place of business.
